After graduating from the Graphic Lyceum, I continued to develop myself within the creative field. To me, creativity isn’t about picking up a paintbrush and trying to put your mark on everything. It’s about looking for a solution that isn’t necessarily the most obvious one. I’m someone who can discover solutions in the most random things or objects. Someone who asks questions, looks at the bigger picture, and can uncover an organisation’s underlying wishes and needs by reading between the lines or even between the unspoken words.

And yes, I absolutely love getting my hands dirty with the more traditional creative work too. Organising a photoshoot, diving into Photoshop and InDesign for all kinds of creative tasks, or designing a website, that’s the kind of work that makes me genuinely happy. To me, something is perfectly done when the details don’t stand out but when everything simply feels like it belongs there. Finding that perfect balance between staying within the client’s framework while still colouring just slightly outside the lines is my ultimate goal.

And what else?

There’s always a life outside of work. Why mention it? Because working together as partners is also about having a personal connection with someone. 

Things that make me happy: my son and his sometimes wonderfully simple way of looking at things, and the incredibly insightful things he says; cooking dinner for friends; the smell of a summer rain shower; sleeping outside under the stars; decorating a home; old vinyl records playing the best jazz or soul; and sunlight filtering through the trees..

Things I would still love to do: build my own house, travel to Cuba or see the Northern Lights.
